mink necklace with south sea pearls, natural colored sapphires and a gold plate with a 1 ct diamond.
In 1951, after several months of hunting, Prince Rewa Maharaja Martand Singh captured the first white male tiger ever seen in the wild. The tiger was named Mohan, and he fathered an entirely new generation of white tigers. These three tigers, of which 2 are Golden Tabbys, were born in Denmark.
They are his direct descendants, and are an even rarer species. There are less than 30 remaining in the world. The birth of three tigers could not have been anticipated, and the Zoo is now trying to raise funds to expand the tigers’ habitat to accommodate the entire family.
Thomas Bickham has collaborated with jeweler Mads Heindorf to design three exclusive chokers. The proceeds of the sale of these unique pieces will be donated to ZOOPARK for the benefit of the tigers’ habitat expansion.
Each choker is set with:
· 20 rare non-treated pastel sapphires, incased in 18 carat gold hand-made sockets.
· 9 Silver South Sea pearls from Australia, Ø10 perfectly round.
· A dog tag in 18 carat gold with a 1.0 carat diamond D/LC.
The dog tags are prepared for a personal engraving of your choice, and the choker can be made to fit a woman´s neck.
Price: $85,000
The ZOOPARK will commemorate the buyers of these three pieces on an honorary board in the Zoo. The buyers also will receive a framed certificate with their protector title, as well as a picture of the tigers.
All profits from the sale of the chokers will directly benefit the tigers
All donations, big or small are highly appreciated, and makes a difference for the animals.
Private, as well as companies can become sponsors of ZOOPARK at many different levels, and will receive various benefits, along with a certificate, and a description of how your money comes to good use for the animals.
